The first thing that catches your attention when you walk into Sharkbite's Seafood Cafe is the vibrant yet relaxed ambiance. The walls are decorated with nautical themes, giving a subtle nod to the rich maritime history of Coos Bay. The layout is casual and comfortable, with seating options that range from booths to tables for larger groups. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back meal with family or friends.

When it comes to the food, Sharkbite's Seafood Cafe excels in serving up mouthwatering, fresh seafood that highlights the best local catches. From their clam chowder to their signature fish tacos, there’s no shortage of tasty options on the menu. One standout dish is the shrimp and grits, a Southern classic with a coastal twist that has been raved about by numerous customers. It’s a crowd favorite for good reason-plump, perfectly cooked shrimp atop a bed of creamy, flavorful grits. The seasoning is spot-on, neither too overpowering nor too subtle, creating the ideal balance of flavors.

Another popular option at Sharkbite's is their seafood platter, which gives you a taste of everything. This dish features a generous selection of fried calamari, oysters, and fish fillets, all fried to perfection and served with tangy dipping sauces. It’s ideal for anyone who can’t decide on just one type of seafood and wants to sample a variety. Whether you’re in the mood for something fried or grilled, Sharkbite’s offers a range of options to satisfy any craving.

The quality of the ingredients really shines through in every bite.

If you're not in the mood for seafood, Sharkbite's also has a few non-seafood options. Their burgers are a hit, with a juicy patty cooked to your preference and topped with fresh, crisp ingredients. For those looking for lighter fare, the salads are a great choice, especially the one with fresh crab and a tangy vinaigrette dressing that perfectly complements the sweetness of the crab meat.

After a meal at Sharkbite's, it's a great idea to take a walk along the bay to enjoy the stunning views.

If you're planning a visit, it's worth noting that Sharkbite's Seafood Cafe tends to get busy, especially on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea to avoid long wait times. Very nice staff. Enjoyed the food, Ciders, and beer. Little play area for kids while waiting. Attached to the surface shop, you can enter through either one. A little confusing about ordering etc. You tell them how many people in your party, order food, wait to be seated.
